FFKM Perfluoroelastomer

An elastomer of the highest class

Perfluoro rubber is a fully fluorinated elastomer. Chemically, it is very similar to PTFE. It is primarily used where very good thermal and/or chemical resistance is required. It is used particularly in areas where there are high safety or cleanliness requirements.

FFKM materials can be used between -20 °C and +325 °C. Special compounds can be used at temperatures above +325 °C or down to -30 °C under certain conditions.

We have the ability to manufacture lip seals, wipers and shaft seals from FFKM within a week.

This document gives you information about the storage time after receipt of the articles from NT K + D AG. It is also used for orientation and to avoid failures after installation.
