Our NTH-Rings have proven to be a reliable and effective sealing solution, especially in the hydraulic and pneumatic sector. They are dynamic seals which can handle a wide variety of media ocurring in the machine, pharmaceutical or food industries. NTH rings are used for pistons, rods, plungers and slowly rotating shafts.
The double-acting NTH-Ring consists of the clever combination of a PTFE ring with a rectangular cross-section and a synthetic rubber O-ring. The wear-resistant PTFE ring performs the dynamic sealing while the elastic O-ring serves as a static seal and gives the PTFE ring a uniform pretension.
NTH-Rings fit in grooves with rectangular cross-section.
